Nokia says the single SIM variant’s battery life will last for 37 days on standby mode or up to 11 hours of talk time. The Dual-SIM Nokia Asha 205 comes with a hot-swappable SIM card slot on the side and stores settings for up to five SIM cards. To make it more social and entertaining, Nokia added Facebook, Twitter and eBuddy apps and an EA gift pack of 40 free premium games worth around €75. The Nokia Nearby service on the Asha 205 uses cell tower coordinates to download local maps and identify nearby points of interest even if the phone lacks a built-in GPS module. It uses the firm’s cloud-based servers to compress data by as much as 90 percent, which helps save money and page loading time. Nokia says the handset comes preinstalled with the proprietary technology of Nokia’s Express Browser. Bluetooth-enabled devices from other manufacturers and Nokia phones without Slam can still receive the file. It allows the receiver to accept and download the shared file automatically without any need of Bluetooth pairing.
